Davemk4's Progress/DIY thread..

Featured Replies

after attending plenty of shows along with me last season dave decided he needed to take his polo to its next step. being a tight c**t lol and not one to worry about getting his hands dirty he decided to set about as much of the work he wants done himself with the help of a couple of us. this is where he is so far and theres plenty more to come...

some of you may remember it from the poloshow when it looked like this..

all started when i found and collected a set of TT half leather seats for him

got jiggy with the welder and made them fit.

then some kinda soul keyed his wing so knowing that he'd need it painting he decided that he didn't like his side repeaters anyway

then he went and impulse bought this with intentions of something a bit special..

after seeing my bumper smoothed he decided he liked it some much he's give it a go himself but leaving the plate recess in..

next on the list is a new set of wheels which should be on the car very very soon, then more bodywork i.e smoothed sills, swage lines and get busy with the rear end. he's also got a few very special touches up his sleve which i'll keep a secret for now!

updates should be this week!
