Standard, UK font, on reflective plates of the standard dimensions, with the BS kitemark and postcode of the supplier at the bottom, black on white for the front, black on yellow for the back. Optional GB band with EU symbol. Nothing else is legal.

Oh, and correctly spaced too.

Everything apart from standard is illegal.

so look like I'm sticking with standard plates :)

Live life on the edge, get some unbanded pressed plates.

nothing intresting allowed, boring tacky plates only I'm afraid......... w**kers

Live life on the edge, get some unbanded pressed plates.

That's illegal and can land you with a £30 fine and points.

So un banded pressed plates lets start:

Tin material

Non reflective or too reflective a surface, undetectable by camera's and cause glares

No makers initials or stamp

Then you will have font and spacing.

You're asking for trouble.

I heard you can't get points?

Either way it doesn't matter - standard are the way forward.

You can also get a 3d font which is also road legal. If you go to websites and places etc which sell plates, they will let you know which ones are road legal, and which ones aren't.

anything that looks good is illegal lol

plastic standard uk ones can look ok but they gotta be clean with no condensation n stuff behind the plastic
