just thought i would show you what i did over the weekend.

with help from dannydub and davemk4 cheers.

lol fun weekend? Turned into a right nightmare. At least we finally got the steering collum out! Basically what happened was that the bracket that holds the steerin wheel up snapped. So we had to take the stearing collum out and weld the bracket back together. Sounds easier than done. The fact that jason's (VDUBZ) stearing collum isnt surposed to come out, according to the haynes thought we done pretty well!. The bracket snapped due to fatigue. At least now its welded up not just pinded!

whats the gear stick from?

The clutch pedal was tucked up away under the dash to get the collum out. Gear knob and gatior is from a 6n2 polo
