HI,JUST WONDERIN WITCH YOU LIKE BETTER 3DR OR 5DR? :-) :-)

I have alwayz been a fan of the 3dr look, but 5dr definetly more practical :p

prefer 3door on any car

i dont mind 5dr's or 3dr's as i wont be the one climbing in and out of the back.

they can both look as pimp as eachother, jut depends on how they are done

Yeh same as damiannn, they can look good either way, but if you want something that handles better get the 3 door, less holes means a stiffer body, less roll and twist, stands to reason but i doubt if many joe bloggs could feel the diference.

i dont get when people mod 5doors and shave the rear handles off,,, why didnt they just buy a 3door?!

Knowing how tight the spaces are at my work car park, I would happily swap my 3-door 6n2 for a 5-door. The smaller front doors would make parking less of a hassle, and it would be less of a nightmare to get my little un's car seat in and out of the back. As it is, we only use our other car (Mazda 6 hatchback) for baby transport duties cos we can't be arsed doing it in the Polo.

It's horses for courses, though. If you rarely have passengers or rarely need to use the back seats, then 3-door is fine. The extra hinges and that in a 5-door will also increase the weight of the car so your BHP/tonne would be slightly lower but then again your front/rear weight distribution would be slightly better (not enough to notice, of course :)) and some people just don't like the look of the extra doors.

Thos people wish they had a 3dr, they are in denial.

Depends on the car. I really like swallow tail golfs in a 5 door, but I like 6N2 Polos as a 3 door.

3 door FTW!

As already said stated, depends on how the look is done.

3dr suits a more sport look whereas the 5dr is cruising machine.

When I was lookin for my first one I was like no way a 5dr, now I got a 3dr I'm dying to get a 5dr valver!

My 5 door is growing on me..I just need some of the bodywork sorted and I think it'll be alright!

Got to agree, I've had both. Most of the time 3 dr is fine, but on the odd occasion, it's nice to have the extra doors, so 5 door got my vote + they can look nice too IMO.

3 doors all the way but as Kam said it all depends on the car.

I've always had 5 doors except once when i had a three door and it was a pain in the ass to get stuff in and out the back. Dont see the big deal though between the two.... would have either
