Letts See Your Mk2's Stance . Which Wheels

Featured Replies

Just got a Mk2 Coupe S and want it pretty slamed but still "slightly" practical .

What Setup do you think i should go for?

I have found that a 60/80 kit is for me thanks to everyones replies ..

I have also found that 7J 13" wheels are going to look the pimpest ..

Just need your opinions on the 3 sets i had in mind .. I have my idea which i think is the best just wonderd what others think of them ..

Here is my inspiration ..

Mk2Polo80-60fronttopcaps.jpg

80/60 with front lowering caps  On 15" :unibrow:

I'm thinking CC Teledials .. WHat are the dimensions of Porsche Teledial rims ?

Normally come in 15x6 and 15x7. ET is around 52ish.

my coupe S

This is a pick of mine. Not great for seeing the lowerage but you get the picture. As you can see on the last piccy the front needs to come down a tad more but i have some lowering top caps to go on in the near future and then i think the stance will be perfect. I am low, it handles nice, its not rock solid and i can still drive up bumpy roads and over speed bumps if i need to. Can't skimp on quality though. I have a H&R cup kit and renewed pretty much everything up front including G-lader blocks.

If i am in derby anytime soon i will get in touch and you can take it out and see what you think. Will be a GT soon as well :unibrow:

Hope this helps.

Mk2 coupe are the future!!

I like the 2nd ones as it hasnt really been done

but they all would look good.

Minilights have been done to the death. Revolutions ftw in my eyes.

Did you have any trouble with suspension geometry ? (how is handling)

Any grinding of the mechanical conponents ot stop rubbing ?

The thing is i have been told its alot fo effort and the handling is effected badly when lowerd past 60ish .

I would like it as low as yours iff i knew it wouldnt efffect the cars handling adversly .

You have got a stance and a half there !

I have some more progress piccys of this beast and i have to say the work and effort that is going into the bready is amazing. Not my place to show any more pics of the car but it is very nice. Watch this space for sure.
