its been really sunny for about 5 days and i haven't needed to use my wipers, so i forgot that the last time i tried to used them they didnt come on.

they randomly wipe once now and again, but thats no good. has anyone had this problem before....mk2 polo???

i want to fix it before it rains!

dont worry about it mate i've decided its summer from now on this year to make up for last year so i forecast NO RAIN till december! therefore no need for wipers!

thanks G40 AD. thats a huge relief. might take em off completely and save sove money in fuel as i think they are compromising my aero-dynamics.

yeah thats what i thought, so i did wiggle them about, took off that protective plastic sheet thing under the bonnet and poked all they conecters with a pen. i had a good wiggle (haha) but no change. wierd. hope it doesnt rain soon.

ok, it happened again tonight, and i needed the wipers. but not only the wipers stopped. the blowers and rear window heater too.... and i have no haynes manual yet. (its in the post) what could it be...?

are all of the above on the same circuit?
