You may have missed an earlier post. Alex is one of the writers for Max Power, and his car is featured in the magazine teams 'garage'. Hopefully it'll help push the profile of the Polos, as they've always been over-shadowed by bigger brother Golf.

It's been weird not seeing it at shows of late. Hopefully catch up with you this year. Be nice to see, and now hear it thanks to the toothies.

Karl speaks the truth. Hopefully the next few months will see a few changes that'll get it back on the shows this summer. :)

It's still alive and well, but no longer a daily driver (the joy of press cars!) and now stored in a garage in Peterborough rather than left outside my parents' house on a main road in Cardiff.

That and I think the last time it appeared at any VW event was the rolling road day at Aldon last year. It's done about 5-600 miles since last September because the gearbox is ill, and given how expensive they are I decided it would be best to keep mileage to a minimum.

8P should be going on this weekend, and once I've put an aerial back on the roof (some pikey nice people broke the whole of the last one off) it'll be waterproof again, so I'll start using it more.
