yeah, i remeber clarkson bought a turbo'd mitsubishi for one of the challenges and on the top speed test his louvre fell off.

Mmm, there used to be a company called Richard Grant Accessories (RGA) who made all sorts of nasty spoilers, wheel arch extentions, window louvres, bonnet ducts and side skirts in the 70's, 80's and into the 90's! They were always finished in black ABS (though they could be painted) and I thought they were gash then! They were very popular at the time though.

Mind you, I've never liked bodykits or bolt on "styling" additions.

Hopefully RGA don't exist as a company anymore, at least not one producing such nasty tat.

haha after tlkin to you bout this i asked my dad and he said he had a set off his old capri at his parents till a couple of months ago! could have made that fit bein as good as we are at bodgin

But RGM does (Richard Grant Mouldings) Halfords sell them!!!

I'm not a fan to be honest, but each to their own. shows would be boring if everyone had the same taste

i looked for some of these for my rocco but the only place i could find that made them for it was some yank company and they weren't the old skool ones, they were really rounded and just didn't look right at all

They look cool on the right car. But on some they just look a complete mess

The ones on the deloreans are cool as hell, dunno if they're the inside or outside ones though looking at them.

I've got a 80's custom car mag and theres an advert for a shop selling them for mk1 polos. ill try and find it and see if theres a manufactuer to look up.

Emailed RGM and they said "We do not have any information regarding VW Polo Rear Window Louvres. I would suggest that you contact a VW Dealer or a company who specialise only in VW parts."
