Ever since I've known about cars and petrol (primary school kind of age) I've been told that there is only 20 years worth of petrol left.

Same with the present day, there is 'only' 20 or so years of petrol left, but as always before then new technology will be devolped by the oil companies to get the more remote oil out the ground which just now we can't reach.

Either way, I'm going to enjoy my car while I can buy petrol :)

oil companies create a false demand so they can charge us more!

its a conspiracy. they say its running out so they have an excuse to raise the prices of fuel. besides i can guarantee 110% that if it does run it, which it probably will they already have an alternative at hand.

No I doubt we are gonna run out of oil anytime soon, thats just stupid. BUT we will eventually, and anyway, what with global warming and there should be an alternative pretty soon tbh.
