195 on an 8j rim ????

is the tyre too fat for the rim if i fit a 195 to an 8j rim, or will it be ok ?

iirc minis run dunlop sp9000 195 45 13's on a 8" rim so i cant see why you couldnt get one to look alrite

I had 195`s on both sets of my 8J wheels 8-)

Considering I have seen a 155/80 on a 13x8 I think it will be fine :lol:

I got 195/45s on mine

195/40 ftw. A mate of mine ran it on an 8j rim with no trouble at all, looked awesome. If you can, get the Dunlop SP9000 as they look brilliant with this combination.

Even 175/50 doesn't look to bad on an 8.

i have 195/45s on my 13x8 wellers (on my mini, but they were on my jetta for a while... pics are on this forum in some other wheel/tyre thread... )

and as said above, a 175/50 will give an even more extreme stretch. I would've gone for that, but i needed as much rubber on the ground as possible while still mainting a good look on the mini (its got a red top in it :lol: )

this is my 8js with 45s!

ran a 185/45 on 8.5" last year no problem and ran a 195/45 on an 8" before that so you'll have no problems!
