cos the ABf engined ibizas are more expensive to start off, and there wouldnt be that much difference, also would have needed to ideally used a bigger charger, like an M62, which is mega dollar :crybaby:

Looks good can't wait to see it in the flesh !!

are you running standard drive shafts ???

  • Author

yup

broke the drivers side but got it fixed a couple of weeks ago, runs all good now :D

hay dub i just noticed this and cooooool is all i can say , would tere be the same amount of work on an abf as my lass drives a cupra sport 16v

Black wheels on that really suit it.

looking shit hot.

decided against the orange bit on the wheels then.

looks built for business on those wheels now, liking it alot.

Much heavier too.

Your car is insane dude, totally awesome.

Like the new rims, i actually bought a set and just finished painting them satin black for my variant, but i think I'm gona sell them on now cos I'm after Borbet BS instead. Have you still got the Borbet BS that were on it btw? I'm after a set.

Fuckin right M62s are mega dollar, and yeah... they'd be quite suited to an ABF too. Maybe I should just concentrate on getting the ABF in the car first...

Love your Ibiza!

Much heavier too.

the engine doesnt weigh that much mroe, only the bottom end is slightly different. And nah i traded the wheels for some Borbet Cs, and mk2 ibiza ronals, which i traded for the mk3 wheels 8-)

cheers for the comments guys, makes it worth while

thats fhoooking insane

just read it all the way though

nice work mate as souf polo said couple our mates have done this and its nt bad for the cost of it

the car is going off road for a few months, the driveshafts are giving me trouble again, and it needs a new belt, clutch etc. So i'm buying a daily (dirty diesel of some kind) and putting my car in the garage so i can save up and get the bits done to it. With the daily i might save some proper money, and then at GTi Springfest or Inters next year unveil it again. Whining Roots Version 2.1 :unibrow:

been thinking hard this morning and this is the shopping list, and things that need to be done (after i've paid everyone that i need to):

Tracking, Camber, Tow

Driveshafts Sorted out

Oil Catch Tank and pipework

Wire in and plumb in boost Gauge

Full Stainless Exhaust

4 Branch Manifold

Schrick 272 Cams (Fast Road / Race)

New Clutch, Lightened Flywheel

Quaife or Peloquin LSD

Cable Change gearbox conversion (02A i think)

Move Battery to boot, and washer bottle

Move Air Filter + buy BMC with cold air feed

Powdercoat Rocker cover and inlet manifold

Port and polish the head

Full Roll Cage (weld in), Full X

Possibly up the boost

Replace all the hoses with colour coded SFS hoses (purple :D)

Possibly new internals (££££!!!)

Bodywork - Tidy Up

with me getting a runaround car, i'd have the time and space to remove the engine and get everything done properly. I want this to be a minter and a track car.

anybody care to put up a figure of what the above would cost?

fuck knows how much it costs but i remember hearing this car in Holland. I think you stayed in the room next to us. Sounds amazing would of loved to seen that ginger guys face in the r36!
