Lowered Squareback Genesis (GT)

Featured Replies

This car will not be for sale until the 1st of march.

I've owned the car for 3 years and its been my pride and joy! I'm a mechanic by trade so all work has been carried out by myself to my standards. This is a daily driver and has been very reliable. It always gets warm on every journey. (I live out in the sticks so the shortest journey it does is 10miles!) I bought the car when it had only 42,000 miles on it but due to me doing 52 miles round trip to work every day it has put the mileage up a bit but its not excessive for it being 16 years old. I'm selling up due to buying myself a civic so the polo is now surplus to requirements!

The windscreen has a crack in it and the NSF shockie is leaking at the moment but I will repair these before selling. The car will be sold with the white hokenheim alloys and not the BBS RA's.

Bad points:

There is rust on the N/S/R arch but hasn't gained in size much since I bought it.

Body has the usual car park dents but it is still in better than average condition.

Bootlid has a line of rust about 2 inches long but doesnt stand out.

Recent work done:

New handbrake cables, brake pads, rear shoes, rear wheel bearings (all done in december)

New shockies within a year ago

Rear axel bushes just over a year ago

I replaced every gasket and seal on the engine 30,000 miles ago. Heres a link to the photographs: Rebuild

Heres all the specs etc, anything else you need to know just ask!

I didnt declare the conversion to the DVLA but I did to my insurers. I had a look at insurance on the net last year and it was still coming up as a 1ltr.

how much money do you spent on insurance?

All mods declared with 1 year no claims and 3 points I was £450. That was with Brentacre who I highly recommend!
