i never thought about having darker wheels, but i think theyd look cool. as far as lowering goes I'm going to have to wait a while until i have some money lol especially since id have to change all of the tyres because its runnin on 195/45/16 instead of 195/40/16, so id have to spend a quite a bit

yeah i no what u mean, wait til uve got abit of money get coiles and go as low as you can on them wheels and tyres then when u have to get new tyres replace them with the lower profiled ones and wind the coilies down abit more ;) :p

nice!! does need lowering, thought that when i saw it the other day. the colour is really nice though and sooo much better than silver that everyone has i think...

Grrr I want a red GTI!

Silver is the most common I think. Was my least favourite colour but beggars can't be choosers - especially when a GTI has only 29k miles and full leather!

thought i'd never say this but a gti needs coilovers and right down to look the titties. 40mm will be hardly noticable id have thought

thats preety much answered it dont boterh with a 40 kit you will only be wanting to go lower and when u do u will loose money on the 40 kit so just save up and get coilies :-D

they're cheap as fuck anyways!! bolt on coilovers 6n upwards are much cheaper than anything available for mine.

i must admit when i first got it i didnt care for the red as much as silver or black, but its really grown on me n i love it more than the others :D, especially with the wheels. saw a standard red one the other day n it looks a bit pants tbh lol

personally I'm not a fan of the wheels. i think standard bbs with anthracite centres on coilovers to the floor would look really nice. or some bathurst lupo gti wheels in black/anthracite + coilovers.

il have a look into it like, another thing i need to consider is me insurance, cos the wheels put it up £400 n the filter £70, but it was gonna be cheaper to insure them than try n find standard bits to put back on

Black and red combo is always a winner!

Change the wheels and deck it FTW. Looks clean :)

Red Gti's are so different as above Deck!
