since coilies and winter wheels, mk5 lights, lowerred further and general tidy up after a slightly rejected autum/winter.

all the latest progress was spurred on by a broken windscreen which was repaired but then leaked while i was skiing so i couldnt check it, got home and went to drive to birmingham to find all the entire car was dripping wet!

once the weather is better I'm after some RH cups as well as a few wee interior plans but will put more pics up when they are done!

cheers mate, yer they look ok, just not euro enough! Bought them as i needed new tyres and they were 150 with brand new tyres!

plans are to have all the interior plastic out for a respray and then recarpet the whole thing black with new seats aswell,

kind of undecided as to what to go for yet options are:

6n2 interior for the standard look

mk3/4 golf gti seats for a bit more racey

reclining buckets or full on buckets with the rear stripped out!

All dependant on both funds and availability really!

u cant get black carpet unless your planning on dyeing your std one mate? looks nice atm though very very shiny. stripped out race spec interior woudl be cool if you had a big engine but its not taht big so i would say get a set of sporty seats and get it to a high standard

was just going to buy a standard square of interior carpet which people often use for carpetting stripped out motors,

i helped my friend recarpet a boot build in his corsa and it wasnt to bad, few material staples, a hair dryer for the tight bends and a stanley knife and your away

i'll just use the old carpet as a template!

yer i was a bit vague when i said metal staples lol. what ill do is lay the original out, use it as a template get everything lined up then fit them over the top

then where you get bulges you heat the membrane up with the dryer, push it in and then staple it down to the original which is pressed into place

in the factory and heated i believe so you have the right fit.

But i am a touch dubious on some of the parts but we'll see. Anything will be an improvement on standard stained grey imo.
