ha ha sorry, i had a mk5 polo gti before this one, and i reckon that would have given this one a dam good run for its money, was expectin to notice a massive difference between the two but its very marginal i reckon

looks tidy, you just going for the rear bumper or have you got plans for the front and side skirts

  • Author

thanks buddy, not sure about the front bumper? cos i wanna keep the spots but yeah was thinkin side skirts rear bumper and not decide on the cup rear spoiler?

i didnt like the cup edition front bumper is to in you face for me so i just got the votex splitter. i also think the cup edition rear spoiler is ott but its all about different tastes so if you like it then get it.

  • Author

i was thinkin the same with respect to front bumper and spoiler, too ott, like the rear though

sweet car bud lookin forward to seein the end result.

oh i used a piper cross fron a golf 1.8t on mine, it's not to loud so i may invest in one of the filters you have if it sounds cool. pm if you can with where you got it from.

my car maybe for sale, i would be looking for around £12,500.00p it has 2 years warrenty left, 6 cd disk changer, low milage, around 8k miles to be exact, this car benefits from vw long life service, plus all the usual GTI refinements and safety features.

anyone who's interested pm me or leave me a message on here,

cheers

id be interested whats making you sell it? I've been trying to get hold of a mk7 gti for quite some time now.

if you ask me id change the ECU on it and pump up the horepower, youd see a big diff in performance then. i think you can change the map to the audi tt 1.8 which gives you somthing like 225 or around that cant remember.

But thinking about it i dont think the polo was designed for 225bhp but i think if you re-map it to 180bhp to the cup edition youd still see a massive improvement, do that before you consider selling up xD

Simple enough to get the standard 210 remap.

also iirc the mk7 gti has the KO3s turbo where as the tt turbo (for the 225 version) is the KO4.

Dont sell and get the VF34 IHI conversion :)

340bhp may feel just a bit quicker lol
