Get back from work today with this mini fault code reader to see what up with my dads clio. He pulls his car up near mine an flings the door open hiting my car. To cut a long story short he eventually romoves his door off my car, an what do you know he has chipped and dented the paint work (right on the seem near the door handle, its a mk3 bytheway).

The cars paint work is awesome apart form this new bloody chip I'm so angry. to top it all off he turned an said to me "IT'S ONLY A CAR get over it".

its not just a car to me its my pride an joy & much loved G40 which get almost every penny i have.

Do you think I'm right being really pissed off with him or am i overeacting slighty??

remove something like a bonnet or door from it and when he realises its missing and he kiks off about it being stolen tell him to calm down its only a car! :)

my mum did this many times on my old polo...i hit the roof so many times and got the same reaction!

I'd have kicked his door in. At least a good couple of dozen times. Then told him to fix his own fucking fault codes.

once my dad left some sticky tape on one of my car windows and he was really apologetic! i was like 'meh i'll get it off its fine!' but i know if he did dent the paintwork he'd feel really bad n pay to get it sorted :)

tell him how much money you put into it and maybe he'll lend you a bit to get it sorted?

Lol. Depending on which Clio it is, they do have plastic wings, very dainty, even a small child could break it!
