i thought they were illegal unless pressure tested or sumin, i dunno but sounds like a bargin tbh!

if you look on a steel wheel they are welded in five places at about 2" long

mine will be fully weld all the way round

i am a fully qualified welder my welding very safe.

you could say that. I run widewheels. a fair few people have had wheels from us on here. :-D

Everyone seems to think its easy making banded steels, cut them roll a band and weld them . . how very wrong. So many things to consider in getting them 100% and making sure they are straight etc . . .

We have seen some peoples effort inmaking them and we have been astonished no one has been killed on some of them.

i'm not going to moan about the quality like as just by looking at the website you can see their a top job like,

just one question though, what are they like to be balenced, i know you can't make them 100% like but are they far out or pretty close.

interested for some winter wheels for next year only not got any steelies that would come out far enough to fill my arches so would be quite a good replacement for me :D

well . . . . .

we bought some G60 steels and balanced them from the dealer, they needed at 10g weights on the odd wheel.

We had the wheels banded and then re-balanced, they wheels still needed 10g.

we were very impressed that they were as good as the dealer sold them, although we have had alsorts of jigs etc made up to make sure they are as close to 100% as possible
