Hi all, me and my bro gave the cars a quick clean last weekend and decided to take some pics. Please excuse the bump on josh's car. Someone hit him so waiting for all the insurance to go through. Should be done in the next month or so. Also he doesn't have the centre caps on. Anyway, here they are

gotta ask who's is quicker?

i had a good dual with a leon cupra s earlier in ma standard g an it was completely neck n neck part from the fact it probably felt a damn site safer for him on the long swoopin corner at 100 odd, with out jelly for suspension!!

lol well my bro is running the ko3s turbo, induction kit, sports cat and full exhaust, front mount intercooler, custom code stage 2 remap. He was told when he had the remap he may have a small boost leak. They couldn't get it on the rollers cos the trackin was out so didn't get a print out. When running fine with this spec they tend to get around 240bhp so were thinking he should be about 225-230bhp.

They're pretty even up to about 70 then he pulls away. When I get to the end of third. Its pretty impressive! Just keeps on pulling where the G runs out a bit top end.

yeah that sounds bout right I LOVE 1.3's!!! never thought i'd say that when i first started driving n dint know the delights of Gpower... how long u spend looking 4 that G? i spent a year sourcing the right one got a black one on 38k last year! been garaged for 12years n just driven bout 1k a year to keep it fresh!!! wanted a grey one really!

It was very lucky actually. I told a few mates I was looking for one and a friend of a friends father was thinkin of selling his. It hadn't really been driven much over the last couple of years. Just needed sme love!

Your G40 should be much quiker than the A3

i raced an s3 once n that was just neck n neck til bout 120 when i went Aghhhh this has no brakes n theres a round about!!!

what makes you say the G40 should be much quicker? From what I've heard mine should be around 150bhp? and hes runnin around 225-230. Power to weight I think he has more...and he can get the power down better!

Aint at its best atm as its waitin to have some repairs from a bump i had way back in august!!! and front is too high as it was rubbing on the arch where i was hit.... And with the weather starting to get better and shows on the horizon i think i need to sort some new rims for the summer!! Gotta have some bling again for the sun

sorry forgot why i was typin in this box.........wel the 'G' was quicker before the a3's ko3s and remap, that impressed me (sorry josh i had to say it ) but then the a3 went under further surgery and i was again impressed somewhat further !
