Keep it mate. Car looks hot and is a good run about, leave it as it is. Get something old and cheap to tinker with.

nope, pop the clips out on the metal bars then sorta tuck them under, then apply 2 cable ties per cap for security purposes! or get VW ones off mk4 golfs and the like and they fit without the cable ties!

just a few hehe
