yeah dont rat it it loks quite clean mate. i like the colour on the wings, if it was all that colour i think it would polish up great!

Looks cool!

Doesnt look like your fond of your back!

you will learn a shitload if you've never messed with an oldskool vdub like this...looks fairly tidy,my brother has a 1970 beetle and a 72 camper, dad also has a 72 camper,i used to work on them, weldin them up we did a few full restos, well i did my boss dint do much so i learnt a LOT!!!we were basically a camper and beetle garage, prepare for burns if she needs any welding,if you need any advice, gimme a shout,me and my bro are pretty knowledged up on beetles and campers :) how much did he win this for???

looks nice bud, just a few spares eh

My dads first car was one of these in a pale blue colour, I seen photo's and it was mint. Him and my mum had to wear coats in it as there was no heater!! Dont rat it, it's a classic car it needs to be appreciated, tidy up the rust and paint it in one of the original colours if you can!!

wow! thats gorgeous!

Picked this up 2 years ago! It had beeb standing for 2 yrs and the belly pans were completely rusted! The doors were rusted shut as well! Once you've got them open they're fairly easy to change for another set though.

Those cars dont have heaters but if you've got doors with quarterlights they turn right around in the summer to create lovely air conditioning!

I drove that for a week while my polo was being fixed and I've never been so scared in my life, you can't see the wings from the drivers seat so its hard to judge how close to things you really are

now that is swwweeeettt. leave it as it is, get it running and stick a roof rack on it and your well away.
