Right i feel like getting another car for my 21st.

Am in two minds what to do. Either spend the money on doing the bodywork for the g OR put it towards something like a supra TT or skyline etc.

I want to get some rwd turbo car fairly soon and i do love both of those cars!

Budget around 8k i reckon plus ins.

It has to look good and have some creature comforts. (bit of a change from what i have i know!)

Then i have to think about what to do with the g! i love her to bits but i dont know whether i could keep her or not!

I think time will tell with that one! Ideally would keep it as a weekend car!

Rear drive R32 or R33 Skyline gets my vote. Supras are nice, I've driven a Mk3 and been passenger in a Mk4 (the one we all know) but the Skylines really are in a different league.

my mate has an r33 gtst, its nice but it looks a bit gash.

r32s gtr's have been catching my eye mainly as they are cheaper.

i have to admit i do have a soft spot for skylines mainly as they handle better than the supra's.

id ideally love an import r33 gtr. have seen some nice ones for 9k.

insurance quotes arent as bad as i was expecting.

i reckon it will be an r33 more than likely, the family wont want another old school car in the family!

the g40 is bad enough for them! haha

all well and good but running the cars can cripple bank balance's! but if you have a need 4 speed just get an r1!

Indeed, Skylines have far less in common with boats than Supras

sod an r1, not yet anyway! id like to get somewhere without having to re do my hair and take leather everywhere. (i know its gay with the hair comment but most people do it!)

i will get a bike at some point but want a car for the mo!

regarding the crippling bank balances - i drive an eatoned g40.haha i think i have experience of cars that cripple your bank balance so ill be prepared!

330ci all the way! sports pack ones are soooooo nice!

this guy i know has just bought Darren from G Werks green TT on maybach rims, its stunning!

there are a lot of bmws around so you'd have to do something special to make it different but they are tidy.

its a GTT so not a gtr but wow! he wants 13k for it!

A RWD Polo MK2F Polo will never handle aswell as a skyline.

I would say the skyline, my budget was never large enough to consider these cars but for that price my list would also include:

Lotus Elise

Mazda RX8

Mazda RX7

TVR Chimeara

Subaru Impreza WRX (I know its 4WD but it's a cool car)

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 (as above)

I had a budget o £4K and test tried insurance on an MR2 Turbo, Subaru Impreza Turbo STI I think and an RX7 Turbo, all of which were cheaper to insure than a standard Polo G40 for some obscure reason.

I'm going to get it all running and tidied up first, then take it from there.

a friend of mine works at a porsche tuners and if you cant get a decent one dont bother as they are too exp to maintain.

recently my mate just tuned his civic jordan to 305brake at the wheels so it makes my car look puny in comparison, so its time to go bigger and bolder with more potential

yeah I've seen that white one, is pretty much what I'm looking for!

a mate has an s3 its awesome but i want something that i could keep for years and just not run out of things to do to it.

rx7s are a bit twitchy for me but man do they sound mental!

s3's are fwd but have the quattro system which switches to 4wd if necessary.

3000gt not really for me, the NUR spec is insane
