Hi,

i was looking to buy a set of RH CUPS... 7 X 15 at the front and 8 X 15 at the rear..

and was going to drop it on Eibach Sportline springs (50mm all round) this was to save the ride because i dont like the idea of having coil overs on a day to day basis even though they look great!

my mate has 15" alloys and Eibach sportline springs for his valver and it sits gorgeous.... pure race look..

i was wondering if this will be enough on 15" alloys?? i mean i want to keep it enough to clear speed bumps aswell, we have some really high ones in our area...

i did actually consider buying 14" alloys (STEFFAN BCW 5 spoke or BORBET T), but to lower onto 14's... i suppose theres going to be at least a 70mm drop involved... and i dont think i want to go that low, even though 14 X 8 and 14 X 9 alloys look insane....

if any one could possibly give me some advice or re assurance and opinion as to which way i should go...

14's + hw much drop (enough to clear the humps)

or stick to 15's and drop 50mm (but will that really be enough to look agressive and clear humps??)

Any help and advice would be appreciated..

bump....

wow would have thawt at least people would post a pic of their cars how their currently sittin and what size rims theyve got.... so i can see for my self... what height to choose and what rims to go for

this is my friends 16V ... dropped on 50MM eibach sportline springs... with 15" alloys..

what do you reckon?

id always go for coilovers if your going to run wide wheels. save lots of grief with arch clearance and if you are worried about speedhumps etc you can always raise it. coilies are all good nowadays :-)

coilovers.. whihc ones could you recommend... something with a smooth ride

nothing will be smooth and soft, unless maybe some of the top end stuff is very adjustable. fk's are decent. not heard much bad stuff about the £200 quid ones for sale on here, ebay etc. its all pretty much the same stuff to me :-D
