i got a guy at the local garage to weld me up a battery cage for my yellow top 8-) and i bolted it through the spare wheel well.

Like that boot popper idea a lot!

well it was kind of a necessity as i have no boot handle

love the fact its hooked to the rear wiper though. just need to make sure i dont knock it when on the motorway or something

I've had the boot open on the motorway!!!

(Didn't close it properly!!!)

Parcel shelf blocked my rear view and i didn't have a left wing mirror!!! I was in the fastlane and couldn't see anything!!!

I had a flat bat so i had to remember to keep the engine running when i pulled onto the hard shoulder!!!

Must have been funny for anyone behind to see the boot open

How much clearance did u have in terms of height in the spare wheel well? I should be gettin a NSB90 or a Odyssey 2150... 8-)

Lovely h/u btw... sound great!

Looks good mate, did you wire the solenoid into your rear wiper wire from the rear? As ill be doin mine soon.

cheers 8-) I'm not sure about the clearance yet, but its not much. i had to make the sub box sooo much smaller :-(

we'll see how it goes when i get the false floors in! good luck with an NSB90 :|

yep, used some spade connectors chopped in half and pushed into the original rear wiper plug (i used the brown (earth) and the green (live) ) the third wire in the plug is so the wiper turns back the other way so is not needed 8-)

you knows it 8-)

looking like good progress, when i got my smooth boot on i had exactly the same idea for the boot popper rather than have some untidy button lying around!

i done it that way because I'm lazy and didnt want to run more wires than i need to lol.

still got a run of 0awg, front speaker wiring, 2 sets of RCA's and some 3core cable for the volt meter, epicenter remote cable and a remote turn on cable to run, aswell as wire up the split charge relay, the battery the amps and make a good earth point, sound deadening, fit component speakers, make false floor cover/paint floor and sub box

all before UD (my self set deadline)

missionsss!

looking good so far! I got the same head unit too. Cool isn't it! whats that earth track your talking about?
