How much clearance did u have in terms of height in the spare wheel well? I should be gettin a NSB90 or a Odyssey 2150...

cheers I'm not sure about the clearance yet, but its not much. i had to make the sub box sooo much smaller

we'll see how it goes when i get the false floors in! good luck with an NSB90

Dumdum of talkaudio reccomended the nsb90 to me and praised it so much i now refuse to get anything else lol.... theres always a way! He managed to get a 5 cft ported box in his 5 door mk4 polo and wack in a Nsb90 in the boot too... i still dont understand how the hell its possible....

I'll be starting my install shortly after UD.... Would be nice to hear urs at UD! Should sound the bolloxxx... how come you've gone for 2.5 cubes only and 33hz tuning?? lol..... tryna avoid the excessive boom huh thats all my current sub does... plays between mid 20 range and high 30/low 40 (depending on song) fine then rolls off BIG TIME.... i mean there is nothing! lol My mids are working there asses off from 60 upwards

yep, id want it to be a bit more than a one note wonder this time as i know the XXXv3 is so much more than that! it's still gonna hit HARD and drop though, especially with 2k up its arse.

5cft aint so bad, i had 3.5cft with room to spare i reckon with no parcel shelf its possible. I'm hoping it'll all be in for UD, if not then the Bass end of it DEFINATELY will be :-D You joining the dub-london cruise up there ?

i need to make a battery tray simaler to dumdum as i have 1 battery left to fit in so i have 10 :)

Today i have been mostly running cables and sound deadening!

Managed to get in:

2 runs of speaker cable, 1 x RCA and 1 x Epicenter Remote Lead - down the middle

0awg from front to back, 1 x rca and some 3 core mains cable (remote turn on & volt meters) down the passengers side

also got the split charge relay hooked up and working!

got the whole car sound deadened now too, and got my components in and tested

Earth point in the spare wheel well.

Half-way through deadening that side!

Fully deadened boot floor (2 to3 layers in most places)

What a mess

sorry i didn't take more pics, i couln't be arsed and would rather just crack on and get the job finished

What sub n amp u running in 4.5 cubes??? most 12's will choke in that kinda space (unless its a v4 xxx) lol....

Foxie what u gonna do with regards to the boot flex? lol... my cars a 5door and the back doors flex around like mad with only 1k.... I mean i look at my windows and get a bit scared... can anything happen? lol

iiiiiii did the boot popper hooked up to the rear wiper wiring on my first polo u ghey face :p

but i had the newer style stalk with the rear wiper button on the end of the stalk, so less chance of accidentally activating it

a v3 12" xxx will love 4.5cuft with port area and sub displacement

check out the new dc audio subs that are coming into the uk soon

15" re se with a 1201.1 jbl mono bass amp.

no one in this country has much experience with Fi but DC SOUND subs are also about to come into the country and they look awesome especially for the price thats why i'll be gettin 8 monsters for mine

iirc scott, who makes Fi said even with the extra venting the Qs didnt like 2k, I'm waiting for a revision on them as I've got 2 genny profile 1 ultras waiting for a Q.....

the old setup was XXX12 in 3.5cft tuned to 35hz..i thought that was loud.. this new box, with 2krms, the sound is immense coupled with an Epicenter.. well...

the bulk kit will be enough to do your boot, rear panels and doors VERY well.

you got any pics of the how it looks with the false floor etc in? looks like a serious set up you've built there!
