Been meaning to post about my new car for a while, but been ridiculously busy.

After an unfortunate incident in my Qube at the end of November I had to find a new car.

As soon as Will, G40Will, heard about it, he very kindly donated his 1.0L Fox shell to the cause. With a condition I will share at a later date

So we stripped the Qube, and started to fit the bits to the new shell. As it was without tax or MOT, we decided to take a bit of time (we normally do conversions in a day) and fit all the other bits I had collected over time, like GT rear beam, G-Laderseite ARB mounts etc. And fit things properly with custom brackets instead of cable ties.

Car started fist time, and went through the MOT without single advisory. A testament to James's skills.

Car is running a very safe map at present, very retarded ignition and lots of fuel, but still made 166bhp at the Club Polo RR day at the end of January.

Once mapped it will be over 180bhp, which with a weight of about 760kg make for a lot of fun.

And very upset M3/Porsche drivers.

I actually quite like that, tho the colour is a bit marmite for me. Who cares though, when the engine is as monstrous as your spec! Should be a poo-pants car with a remap hehe.

I think the colour is awesome, although you are right it is a definitely a marmite colour. And I can assure you that as a passenger (ok a very nervous passenger who doesn't like not being in control) it is ALREADY a 'poo-pants' car

I can't wait to see what it will do down the stip :-D
