How much did the twin 40 conversion cost in total, and what parts and work were needed to complete it? I'm trying to decide whether i like the idea more than a bike carb setup!

Thanks.

well 2 b fair it depends what route u want 2 go down i brought the entire setup brand new and in total for the 40's/inlet manifold/all fixings e.t.c it cost about £750 BUT!!!!!!

the manifold i got was £212 u can get a manifold for £130 from dblias so that saves a bit already i didnt no this at the time!.

plus u can always buy some second hand carbs and rebuild them so that will agen save u £££££ i just didnt want the hassle of second hand carbs so brought them new instead

and if you are planning on doing the conversion 2 a gt then u will need:

feul pressure reg: £60 ish

mechanical dizzy and coil: £peanuts

and u will need 2 chuck the ecu and have the feul pump running constantly as the ecu will mees u about so need 2 go totally ther is a feul return on the pressure reg and the unused feul just goes back 2 the tank

Not a great fan of that front. Sorry.. Isn't it going to cause a load of problems with the cooling... or lack of?

I've never been a fan of bad-boy bonnets, but i think it would look better if the boser thing wasnt as deep, if you know what i mean.

Gona be honest, I'm not keen on the bad boy bonnet, but your paint job and stance looks f*ckin immaculate, so top marks from me!!

Saw (and heard) this blasting round Oldfield Park when I was walking home from work in the sun last week. Nice to see a modded polo about. It put a smile on my face anyway ;)
