The P6 3500 :D

my mates dad had a white one looks lush and use to torture most cars on the road will be a very valuble car in a few years time i guess

what a beast!

Technically its not a Rover, its an MG? Still cool though!

haha I was ripping the dash out of a shitter of a maestro today (literally :p)

but that one does look quite cool

Note how the bodykit is copied by Corsas the world over

80s MGs are the original chav mobiles!

Nice, they look better in British Racing Green. Very rare being one of the top 10 most scrapped cars in Britain (the Maestro in general). Definately super quick for their time, even now

my old childminder used to have one, it got nicked though lol

bet thats rapid, but bet its also like driving around in a bakedbean tin considerin iall mg's are rovers dressed with mg badges

Yup... Like the R5 GTT and Metro turbo

No they aren't

i got taken out in one of these as a kid, fuck me it was quick, shame the only thing that wasn't stolen was the shell

there was one in the local paper a couple of months back for around 300 notes, if i could of got the cash in time i would of had it straight away. until not to long back one of these was the quickest f/f car in the country.

was the Montego turbo carb fed as well?

I think so, but lets not talk about Montegos. At least the Maestro looks alright.

oi! i had a montego once, one of the rear door skins were held on with rope and it was half blue half red.

montegos rock

The carb fed turbo engine from a Montego has found its way into my mates Ford Anglia 105E.

He's using a bigger turbo, ported head, FMIC and a few other tricks to produce around 220bhp (150 std) and its seriously quick. Runs regular low/mid 13 second quarters with a best to date of 13.2. Also pulls nearly 7k in fifth gear with a 3.54 lsd which is just shy of 150mph! It is a fucking monster! All in what looks like a standard lil'ol Anglia with Superlight alloys!

Looks pretty damn cool.

Lol, mine had an Opel Manta, always thought it was hella cool.

These used to make me puke when I was young! Now they look the nuts, the designs finally hit me many years later lol

Way to name two shit cars in one go.

MG's...80's rovers...glad they are some of the most scrapped cars.
