FEELER - 1993 Polo GT - Tornado Red

Featured Replies

Not 100% sure I'm going to sell just yet, want to see if theres any interest at the price i feel is reasonable considering what i have spent on it in such a short amount of time.

1993 L reg polo GT with late spec interior with black headlining. interior is in excellent condition. bolsters are all intact etc

body work is in what id call excellent condition for year, couple of chips, and a tiny scab at the bottom of the drivers door but nothing major at all as you can see from the pictures. comes up a treat after a polish with meguiars

MOT untill october 18th 2008 and i think the tax is untill the end of March 2008

114k on the clock and still pulls like a train in every gear - very fast for a 1.3

when i bought it the mods done to it were it had been lowered already, i think 40/40 although I'm not sure

also had a poloace chip and a jetex exhaust (i think) nice and quiet normally and gives a nice note when booting it. there is also a front strut brace

since i bought it around 4/5 months ago i have had

gearbox refurb

new coil

new dizzy cap

new rotor arm

new accelerator cable

new fuel filter

both inner cv joints

new sparkplugs

this work was done at garages and totals to around £1000

i have also replaced the air flow meter and will be changing the oil and filter this weekend

also i have added 13x7 ATS classics which are only a few months old and in excellent mint condition i have the £360 receipt for these

also has 175/50/13 conti sport contact with only a couple of thousand miles on them which cost £200

has american plates on atm although has standard plates in the boot lol i also put a kenwood cd player in

also has all red rears fitted atm but i think I'm going to replace them with late spec lights with no reverse lights

also i have an 80/60 phil J kit that is brand new and lowering top caps I've never got round to fitting it

PRICE - £1650 with philJ lowering kit and ATS classics (my mate is keen on buying these bits so if not wanted no problem)

- £1200 on the steels it came on when i bought it and no philJ kit

if i dont get what i want then i'll just keep it and mod it some more 8-) its overall a nippy car that is cheap to tax/insure/run

i currently to 300-400 miles a week atm in it and the only reason i want to sell is to get something bigger like an A3 20vT. will be at the next NWVAG if anybody wants to have a nosy round

the pictures - when i first bought it it looked like this
