Hello every one! I'm Quentin, a french G40 lover, and VW fanatic

My car is one of the 500 French Mk2 G40! I have a poor English but I make now a little presentation of my car!

n°184/500, buy in January 2007, with 151000Km (sorry for the unit "Km/Miles")

I have changed the suspension for Koni and H/R -30mm, and many other think were changed since January 2007!

I want to put this car on the track in few month, but I'm student and I have no much money!

probably full of mistakes, but an effort to improve my french can be worth a try..reading is easier than writing

500 Mk2 G40 were built for France, and 500 for Germany, it's the first production! All in Black! But there was a second production of 500 or 1000 (I don't remember) Mk2 G40 for Germany, in blue, red, gray and black! A few parts of this production was sold to Dutch owners!

The electronics are different of the Mk3! It's very difficult to find a chip for Mk2! But it's the same performance!

Thanks for clearing that up about the production runs. Only a handful of the original mk2 G40's are over here in the UK.

This one was found in the UK by a lad called Tom Garrett which apparently has the engine number PY000008

I have a piece of an original red one :) I can get hold of a brand new mk2 G40 ECU for fairly cheap if anyone you know needs one?

I'm personally not keen on the red stripe on the bumpers, but I absolutely love it, you are so lucky! I have a part of one (front splitter) but would love the engine as well

This piece are not common, many searches the front splitter for their Mk2 G40. You are lucky to have on your Mk2!!

Et oui, encore un qui parle Francais.. par contre, je ne le suis pas! Je suis 100% Anglais, mais j'ai habité en Normandie pour toute ma jeunesse. Maintenant je suis de retour en Angleterre, et ca me fait trop chier! J'aime trop la France, je sais pas pourquoi je suis revenu!

Enfin bon voila lol...

J'adore trop ta Polo! Vachement super lol.... c'est la première fois que je vois la phase 2 en G40! Elle est belle :)
