This one was found in the UK by a lad called Tom Garrett which apparently has the engine number PY000008

I own this one now, although your mk2 G40 puts mine to shame! Here's mine

The MK3 coach "Bel Air" is swap with a PY! It's very nice, and now my friends have Smoor Roadster in his BelAir! Before he had a GK engine with Sorg camshaft and two Weber 40! Now mount on a nice MK1 Viper Green

The Black Magic Audi 50 have a PY"T" engine, +180Hp!!

I don't agree with you there, I have done a lot of research and I have only ever seen it on the right.

500 Mk2 G40 were built for France, and 500 for Germany, it's the first production! All in Black! But there was a second production of 500 or 1000 (I don't remember) Mk2 G40 for Germany, in blue, red, gray and black! A few parts of this production was sold to Dutch owners!

I believe that there were only 500 mk2 G40's built and only in Germany. I've never heard of any more being built so I'd be interested to know where you got your information from.

For the two productions (I'm not sure for german number of G40 Type2) it's an info i've heard and read on the web! And I'm sure that my G40 is a veritable French one! French models were numbered from 1 to 510 exactly!

There have been more than 500. In a second series 1.500 cars have been built (we don't exactly know if INcluding or EXcluding the 500 french cars). In Germany different colors (most chosen have been tornado red, alpin white and heliosblue mteallic additional to black) and some extras have been available, so this tornado red car here is fully stock and original:

Yes, for the right hand rear light I search... If someone has this type of light...

They look so much better when symmetrical.

Id swap a RHD fog lamp unit with an early LHD reverse lamp unit (small lens in red frame),but I'm not convinced it'd look so good with twin large reverse lamps on either of our black/blue cars.

White or silver,maybe metallic grey,even red to break it up.

The cup wheels are rare even in Germany, but sometimes you get them.
