Hi what's the recomded clutch pedal travel before the clutch engaged ? Only asked as I've just reinstalled the engine and gearbox after painting the engine bay. It's been off road for few years and not been driven. It feels odd in the way of to much pedal travel , but it could just because I have driven it in so long. I did install a new clutch and If I remember correctly the clutch cable situation is self adjusting? Thanks

I just typed this up for a dude on e38, god knows why i did it but no-one told me what to do the first time i tried and it was a fucking nightmare. May be handy to pin it, if not no worries but i thought id post it on here too to be helpful :) Hope it helps someone out anyways! Suspension doesnt have to be the mission everyone makes it out to be. I've done a few polos with this setup now and the last time i did it in 4 hours start to finish. My Polo has rusty springs and leaking rear shocks and my MOT is due on 20/04/26 : ( I currently run 40mm lowering springs and G-max shocks, which are now obselete I need a new kit. My options seem to be Bilstein B12 (46-192189) - around £680, but is on back order till May (as out of stock at Bilstein) ST performance (ST23280001) 40mm drop . £522. Lead time unknown H&R cup comfort (40846-1) 35mm drop, ?G40 only? £496.56. 2 week lead time H&R cup comfort sport (31012-1) 60/40mm drop £4

Hi all, I have a strange problem: I can't get any fuel through the carb on a 1985 polo c formel e 1.3. I changed fuel pump and separator, the separator fills up but no fuel gets through to the engine. The car used to run well but sat for years. When starting, the engine kept running on leaner and leaner mixture and cutting out when I pressed the accelerator but revved up well if it got to higher revs. The engine strarts well if I pour some fuel directly into the carb but soon cuts out as the fue

Post or collection from Nottingham. I'm not going to wait forever on this but I'm giving it a few weeks in case I get some interest. 6n2 1.4, 8 valve. Box of bits. Mostly new. I think all new bar one oem used but very good condition thermostat housing. New thermostat housing not oem. Pretty much all genuine stuff is from TPS (when they were sill serving public). Lucky dip. Not going to itemise all parts or numbers. But off memory there will be: Front Brake Pads New, Genuine Oil Filter/Pollen
