Does anyone know if the front wheel bearings on a 98 1.4cl are pressed into the hub or not. would really appreciate any help or info because i really need to get this sorted.

Yes - cos I'm in the middle of trying to get mine back on the road after fitting new bearings.

The old bearing races are pressed out, and new ones are pressed in.

Then, if you're refitting the original hubs, there should be a good interference fit on the inner race.

Mine were worn out, and one actually rattled in the new bearing, so I ordered new hubs, which don't fit, etc. (see above)

cheers, might try an do it this weekend if i can be bothered, but if its gonna be a pain to do i might just put it in the garage!
