it isent a kit its called a bung and u buy them from any hardware store or halfords.

but it leaves a cut out in the glass on a mk4

make one, i did, removed the rear wiper arm and moter, unplugged the rear washer hoze from bottom of bottle (move battery), stuck a 2p over the hole in tailgate, then made a blank from the plastic behind the wiper and glued this to the glass (i made an error, i wanted to stick it to the 2p but i made not deep enuff)

Sorry to drag up an old thread but better than a new one. Anyway, do these bung things just simply click into the hole in the rear wiper was in (after removing it) or do i still need to replace the plastic outside part.

to be honest, youd be alot happier with the look of a custom smoothed over blank, iv had ago and it wasnt hard just takes abit of time, just gotta get your hands dirty and have a bash at sumthing new, itl look 10 times better than a rubber bung

Prob just get one from a scrapyard tomorow n give it a bash, nothing to lose. Would i just filler over it sand and paint it

i super glued a 2 pence to the back, filler in the recess , sand with finer grades till smoothe, primer , then abit of gloss black,
