Couple Of Polos Spotted Norton Canes/pelsall

Featured Replies

This afternoon, just as it was starting to get dark.

Firstly: went to take my neighbour to pick up his VR6 from Midland VW in Norton Canes, and there was a black G up on one of the two post lifts. J*** AUG.

Then, as we were on our way back across Pelsall Common going towards Birmingham, saw a euro mk4 - was getting dark so not sure on colour, but could have been black - slammed on its arse, P reg, dished wheels with lots of stretch, you know the thing.

Same here - by the time my brain had gone "oh, nice polo" then you were gone. There was a black VR6 behind me that belongs to the guy I'd given a lift to, but it's the stealthiest VR you've ever seen in your life. Full-on sleeper!

Haha 8-)

Where's he from? I'll keep a look (or listen) out for it..

He lives 2 doors down from me. :D

To the untrained eye it just looks like a pretty standard Golf, no arch trims, no bodykit, even has a gti splitter on the front instead of a VR6 one, it has standard BBS cross-spoke alloys, no VR6 badge on the grille, not lowered. In fact, the only thing that would give it away is the twin-pipe stainless steel exhaust (which is also fitted flush with the bumper so even that's not obvious) and a small VR6 badge on the back.

However, when he presses the loud pedal, mmm, *that* sound!!

Take it that's Eric's car then E? That's come along nice and quick then, may have to pop down and have a nose

Its very nice - and its exactly as it was when he bought it - exhaust and all. It's also in your favourite colour - VW magic black. :D

Edit: come round for a look if you like - I'm sure eric'll be pleased to show the VR off. Mind you, the V8 in his Rover P6 sounds MUCH nicer. :D

I would bring the scirocco to that party but don't want to annoy the neighbours too much with loud exhausts
