What you mean a jdm rear bumper???? did it have a shortened plate recess??

If so more commonly known as US style, quite irnoic really seeing as (i belive this to be the case) that polo's more the newer models are not commercially available over in the us.

But if it is a short plate recess your after dude, then its mega rare as a standard part (if you can get it in a standard part) but an easier and porbably cheaper option is just to take it to a body shop and have them shorten the recess.

Exactly like this one - but I think with smoothed bump strips

Is indeed jap spec dude, as said more commonly known as us style and extremely rare over here as its a jap part, if you could get hold of the part number from somewhere then you could always go down to vw and order it from them, a mate of mine did the same with jap spec front grilles for his 9n3. But expect to pay through your teeth for it. It would be cheaper for you to just go out and take it down a body shop dude.

Bit of plastic welding and filling with a lick of paint and your sorted.
