Up for sale is a my 5DR 1991 Gti 8V. Owned it for 6 and a bit months but now i'm at uni i need a car thats better on fuel. Driven around 10,000 miles in it since then and not let me down once

Its Black and covered just over 142,000 miles, engine is a PB.

Got a sigma alarm/immobiliser with fob, gives u remote locking also. Have certificate f installation etc - is thatcham approved.

Comes with 2 sets of wheels. Corrado ones as in the pic and the originals (also have 4 very good tires on the originals). Originals not in too great condition, bit rusty but the corrado's are very good.

Interior is in good condition, only very slight wear to the drivers seat.

Since I have owned it its had the following:

2 x service - done privately through mechanic friend

Rotor arm

Rear Pads (Pagid)

Flasher relay unit

Outer CV boot kit

Gear linkage repair kit from GSF

Fuel filter

Air filter

Rocker cover Gasket (incl. head bolt kit)

Clutch cable

Clutch – sachs – no receipts to prove though but should be able to get the ebay listing i got it from though if needed. Same clutch you get from euro car parts

Denso Spark plugs

Have reciepts for everything above, but again all done privately by my mechanic

Got some history dating back 10 years and a good few old mot's.

Bad points:

Passenger front door is dented, have a replacement to come with the car but needs touching up in places, comes with regulator and glass and is in black.

couple dinks here and there as aspected from a car this age - virtually no rust though

Idles a bit crappy sometimes after slowing down and going through the gears.

Could do with some rear discs at some point

Idicator stalk on its way out, still works but again I have a replacement to go with the car.

Tried to be as honest as possible, but if you need anymore information i'll try to answer as best I can.

Only one key - easy to get one cut though

Bit of tlc and could be a very nice car

No cd player

Looking for around £900 or px for a mk2 polo coupe or saloon/mk3 gt or something vag and small engined.

Forgot to mention MOT till Aprill 11, Just had 6 months tax put on

Comes with a few other spares, including a ramair induction kit which i got from a friend but never got round to fitting it
