it is nice when i dont rev at 2k on idle damn thing!!! i was going to come and ask if you knew what would help it but I've tried so many things i might just have to get used to it x x

Well when you next down that way ? due to ill get my mate at that garage to look at it for you, will more then likely need a new throttle body

Well when you next down that way ? due to ill get my mate at that garage to look at it for you, will more then likely need a new throttle body

i live in penkridge so its up the road, i took it to midland vw and they couldnt fit it in till next friday so i went to stafford vw and they charged me £47 to put it on diagnostics (which i had already done at audi) and they said i need a new euc (not ecu lol) so its annoying. I'm hopefully buying a new throttle body and ecu tomorrow and see if that makes a difference but i will need the ecu coded wont i? x

Yer my dads Golf was at midland vw only picked it up today so i know they are busy + it wont be the ECU it will be the throttle body and may also be the idle control valve

my idle control valve is built into my throttle body, so hopefully when i get a new one it will be ok, ille let you know if i get one tomorrow fingers crossed :)

Yeah, well fitting the new body should sort it :)
