First things first my name is Alistair, I am 18 and I am a student studying Engineering.

I've had the Gti for about 8 months now and LOVE it! I do have lots of plans for it but obviously money is a bit of a issue...

Not really sure what to say about it so i'll just say whats been done and what my plans are :)

Been done:

Pipercross Induction kit

De-badged honeycombe grille

Scorpion Twin Tailpipe Exhaust

Engine Start Button

Home made rear upper strut brace

PG Tips monkey, VERY important and strangley amusing? :S

And thats it for the moment :(

Plans:

Yellow Speed Racing Coilovers (Been ordered and should come next week!)

AutoBra Badgless Bonnet Bra (Been ordered and should come next week!)

Custom hidden exhaust (Getting a few quotes this weekend and maybe get it done next month when I get the money)

Wheel Spacers

Recondition wheels and paint them gloss black as winter wheels

Borbet A's :D for summer wheels

Carbon wrap the roof and spoiler

Carbon wrap/Paint red the air vents and heater channel on the dash board

Smooth the whole car ((Including boot) Depending on if I am going to be keeping the car for a few years and the cost.....)

Fill in the little recess in the bonnet

Black angel eyes and upgrade to xeon full beam

Front upper OMP strut brace

Anything else that comes into my brain..... :)

I went on a little photoshoot with my car last weekend so here is my car and some photos I like :)

Let me know what you think and any ideas/tips for anything please! Its always so so so useful!

Little bit photo happy so there are quite a few of them...

looks good mate not too keen on the grille though :/

bottom photo brings back memories of my broken glove box. ridiculous how you have to take out all the driver side and centre trim to get to any stuff on the passenger side of the car.

Each to there own :) just wondering, how come you don't like the grill? A few people have said this but I don't think it's that different to the stock one...

And yeah, it's a bit silly how many things you have to take out! But was really worth it :)

jesus those coilovers look extremely expensive

they proper racing ones?

There are too many things I like on this car!

Where did you get that backbox made?

Colour coded rear strut brace looks really good, as above those coilovers look the nuts!

I'm the first to order them and will be doing a review once they are put on my car.

Cheers :) is nice to hear good things like that :D

It was custom made by this place in Bournemouth http://www.mikestokes.net/

It was only £150 from the centre section back and it is a beast ha! It backfires when changing down gears...

I'm so proud of that strut brace :) first thing I've made on my own...
