Featured Replies

about a month ago i picked up this beauty for £330

94k miles

1.3l tuned and head ported

5 speed

mot'd it but failed on rotten sills, got new plates welded and re-sprayed all the trim while i was at it

swapped the steelies over from my old mk3

sprayed the petrol cap black seeing as it was bubbling

fitted a stereo and sub seeing as it had nothing when i bought it

and just today fitted the strut brace from my mk3

here's how it looks now, taxed mot'd and insured...

future plans are,

fitting some scala snowflakes (black & chrome) on low profile stretched tires

be-dadging the back

possibly putting a camber on it

new cream/brown interior

what do you think?

You cant really put stretched tyres on Scalas, pointless on 6J wheels

I will be impressed if you can find a full cream/brown interior to be honest. Love the burgundy colour of the car though.

that's lame, any similar wheels you know of that can fit stretched tyres to?

cheers, and yer i noticed that interior would be quite rare. makes me want it even more.

Love it mate

you did the same as me bought a mk3

then decided to break it to buy a coupe S

like the brown dash though defo looks different

brown interior= rare as hens teeth

stretch= overrated, just makes it easier to kerb your wheels

cheers dude.

ha, well my decision to break my mk3 was pretty much determined by the fact that i crashed it.

but yer i love my coupe s a hell of alot more than my mk3.

and the brown dash is what i'm looking for, i've got the standard black one at the minute.

Also: I know it's not brown, but it's similar, and I have to ask - would you consider an interior swap?

oh

 didn't know it was so sought after.

and i'm afraid i'll be keeping it until i can find a cream/brown one, but we'll see.

I don't think that interior is particularly 'sought after', it's just nicer than mine .
