After a lot of feeling sorry for myself, I'm putting my passat up for sale due to getting points and insurance more than doubling in price.

It comes in nebio blue metallic (light blue), has covered just over 160k but is absolutely sweet as a nut, I was actually surprised how well it ran, unfortunately I don't have any service history to back this up.

With it being the sport model, it has the sport interior including armrest ( I now love armrests!), x4 electric windows, mirrors and has perfectly working remote central locking.

It comes on 18 inch alloy wheels, think they're 1000 miglia, the tyres will need replacing but not for a few months yet.

Discs and pads all have plenty life, the stopping power is immense ( compared to my previous motors anyway ).

On the juice it's decent too, it's actually more economical than the non turbo 1.8 20v, round the doors I'm averaging 22-25 mpg but on a decent run it's been returning 33.8 - 37.1.

The car has 12 months MOT as of yesterday and had both front top arms replaced at the cost of £30 plus £50 labour.

The bad points are as follows;

The rear passenger door only opens from the inside, apparently it's a common fault I've read on ukpassats, won't be much or hard to fix.

The tax runs out tomorrow but I can tax it, at your expense obviously.

The bodywork has a couple of scuffs but easily sorted.

This is a lovely car to drive, it's one of the few I've actually wanted to keep but needs must.

Mileage is 160,250 mate, give or take.

I'd prefer a swap/px with a smaller car, or smaller engine.

It runs like a dream pal, if I could keep it I would.

Right, I'm ripping myself off doing this, but i want the money for a bond for a house.
