1990 Volkswagen Polo Coupe S 1300cc in Red.

This car has become a proper classic car and with only 54040 miles it is in as close to original condition as I have seen for a long time.

I purchased this lovely car around 9 months ago with a bad head gasket and spent £500 on the engine getting it back to a perfect runner, the engine is a real pleasure with lots of power and revs plus starts easily and purrs like a kitten :)

As you can see from the pictures the lovely bright red bodywork is in very good condition but i will say there are a few bits of rust which could do with some tlc, the interior is really amazing for a car of this age, the only issue i can see is a small crack in the glove box as you can see from the pictures below.

It has MOT until April but no tax and would most likely qualify for classic insurance as its now over 20 years old.

The only problem i know of with this car is a faint whine from the gearbox and the brakes could do with a bit of a refurb, but this is in no way a problem and it still drives very well.

The wheels were painted black and it has been lowered a little bit by the previous owner, I had intended to get the wheels refurbished back to original silver myself but time and other projects have taken over.

It's the bright blue metalic small bumpers with deep 16v splitter lowered on coilovers and got seat cupra interior and a 1.8 kjet cam fitted

It had head gasket, new manifold gasket, a service, Timing belt and also had brake pads, front strut top mount, wheel cylinder and the MOT.

Now reduced to £950 no offers, can do half money half part exchange :)

Well I'm not interested in giving it away as its about as original as you'll ever find and with only 56k miles its easily worth more than £500, the issues are tiny and if you want it then its £750 no offers right now before i put it on ebay and if i dont get that much i'll keep it, its just to good to give it away.

Are you seriously saying it's original? I could write a shopping list with the amount of unoriginal modifications to the car
