well i've been keeping an eye on him too and most of the evening he has been browsing the wanted section and using the pm function. i've already messaged one of the people who's wanted thread he was reading and this lad has confirmed he has pm'd him offering to sort him out with what he was looking for (a pair of GTI head lights).

so lets look at this peanut fellow again shall we...

not been signed up long, most of his posts seem to be filler posts to bump up his post count, he states his location as rainhill, he says he is a painter and he gets abusive when someone questions him or doesn't agree with him. he's also messaging people who have posted wanted add's offering what ever they are asking for

all of which are exactly what paul woodward is known for

so are the mods/admin still keeping an eye on him? is this thread just going to be deleted like the last one seems to of been?

Ah yes, this'll be why i didn't like him earlier - trying to stop people cancelling their credit cards in the event of funny things going on..

any money been taken out of your bank? no there hasn't, pointless cancelling your cards

So a better plans is that if you think your cards have been compromised to just wait and see if any money is taken??

You might find that the bank might not refund you or would kick up a fuss about it due to the fact that you had reason to believe that they could have been compromised and you did nothing!

A charge can also take several days for it to hit the account especially if its from abroad. With debit cards its better to be safe than sorry as if it was used you could have been with out the money for sometime due to the time needed to investigate and then refund your money! Credit Cards its less of an issue as its not your money to get back!

If you suspect something wrong regarding mail order transactions then the first thing you do is blow the whistle - cover your arse immediately. Remember, this company were not given his address, so why have they got it if it's a simple admin error?

If it was a late delivery then there are other steps to take, but this is an order that has clearly gone very wrong and it could be as a result of foul play. As Mark says, transactions can take time, but given the situation it's wise to let your card issuers know if stuff has been ordered to your address.

Even if your finances aren't affected, it could still be a result of crime gone wrong, and with your name and address involved you don't wanna just brush it off, do you?!

But in this case it could also have been that an order was made on his account and the fraudster/s tried to get it delivered to another address, but that failed and it went to the normal address. I'd want them caught, actually..

took a quick look at the contact details on this ebay listing seems the contact address unit 4 victoria works victoria street lists it as in wigan wn1 1ba which is a location mr woodward used in the past on here a qiuck look at the street view shows an address of alliance pilling an alleyway full of shit and above it the name on the window reads houghton and piggot solicitors hmmmm
