how much differences is ther in a 1.0 box compaired to a 1.4 would it be a bad drive or ok ? haven't got a clue on ratioes

1.4 16v or 8v?

and would not be bad to drive, just quicker pulling off, less top end.

the box will be off a 1.0 8v 50bhp going on a 1.4 16v 75bhp

The actual gearbox codes may be different, but this guy asked about a 1.0 gearbox in a 1.4 and the trend is usually the same whatever vehicle age, as most had the same size tyre tread circumference.
