Does anyone have any idea who owns this? Went up the strip against the guy twice and had a chat after the 2nd run, was fairly quick and got traction a lot better than i thought it would!

We drew 1-1 if anyone is wondering :p

Didn't think it would have to be in the spotted section because i didn't exactly spot him, i just wondered who he was so i can find out if anyone had any photos of us both running the strip...

I only saw one other G40 other then mine

both of ours are grey and there was another Grey one actually, think that was a GT though

Thanks man! yeah i was quite happy with my final time, shifted alot better with LSD

The grey with black speed line was Jezza-7, his accelerator cable shitty rubber bung bit tore, so sourced one from autojumble,

Dont know if he ran after that tho

The other grey one was a g40 converted GT

Haha, thought your car looked too familiar to not be you - the Lupo was my old car...just haven't used this forum in quite a while!

Me and my mate adored your car, we've both loved G40's since we had our MK3's as our first cars, hence him asking about you...calm as a cucumber down the strip he said "Wow, he has traction, must have the subframe (and listed all the parts he thought you had)" Then we spoke to you and he was spot on lol.

Fastest time i got was a 14.8 - what about you?

Did anyone get any photos of the cars on the strip? Would be some good photos, i have a video of our first run against eachother when i didn't get traction and you handed my arse back to me in a plastic bag...

Yeah i never get bored of the G although i doo alwyas want more power aha

Aha yeah the Quaife diff helps so much best modification i have bought, i was happy i managed 14.5, i was being a bit scared at the start but soon learnt that i was able to floor it in first gear and pretty much get traction! aha i think some R888;'s will do me nicely, but then i might star shearing drive shafts!

I haven't seen any photos yet but you never know they might pop up although the professional photographer got a few but think they are expensive, have a butchers

I think i need to buy this one though just to rub it in my mates face lol, hes in the GTi
