Sorry mate, I was in a G reg MK2. I've seen the Scirocco around a few times though. Seems to be up that way a lot.

The one I saw was pretty nice. Nice wheels and metallic blue. D reg I think it was...

Seen that one as well. Its got air ride on the front and zender turbo wheels. Lad seems quite friendly, has let onto me a few times.

Aye, turned out the thread had oil in it. Just turned it with my finger and it came out!

Made sure not to tighten the new bolt up too tight

Also, don't suppose you know about the Woodsmoor classic car rally? Was on a couple of weekends ago. Couldn't make this year but usually try to go. There's usually a good few VW owners there (including a couple of Karmann Ghia's that live around me).
