Yeah twas on BBS.....saw the added dials on the dash so i was guessing he had something trick under the hood. Defo didn't show anything like G40 power so he won't have been ragging it, did pick up and go quite quick though! If he had been ragging the new engine it would have just disappeared. Looking like a nice car though....sleeper FTW!

Honest question guys, I'm still doing my lessons but found a few insurers willing to insure me on a GT coupe when I get one, but my question is, how fast actually are they? I mean compared to the likes of Saxo VTR's, 206's, Corsa 16v's etc, are they quick off the mark? My mate has a mk3 Fiesta and he got absolutely eaten alive by a girl driving a standard Corsa 16v SXi on R plates last nite, I just want to be faster than it! lol

Seriously tho.. No, they aren't the quickest car around, But can be with a little love and work. They are suprisingly quick, But that means quicker than you think, not stupidly quick.

Rae is his name, and he is from Huddersfield boys and girls. The car may well contain a G40 lump but i rather like the fact he's kept the GT badge, must be quite a surprise for some people. And it will be a rather quick car once its run in too i believe. We have been doing alsorts on my car - engine work, suspension... rear beam will be done tmrw (not your exhaust richard).

And no pink diamond, he is rarely sober enough to be working on the car. If he is sober its because he's so hung over from the previous night!

I like the fact it has the GT badge as the sleeper thing is awesome. I got behind it at the lights and it just went.... Sleepers are so much more fun.

I live outside of leeds bout 20 mins drive, but i am in Leeds ALL the time so.....Would be awesome to meet up sometime and i don't mind putting some graft in!! :-) I am working most of tomorrow, what time you sorting the car? My car sounds even better now that i went to long life and had an old school looking straight through exhaust whacked on. I saw you at dub pres and the leeds meet as well but my car was hidden round the back. I was with Sam.

I didn't notice the exhaust was a Pea shooter, just noticed it was one tidy looking GT, little did i know it was actually a tidy G40.

Next time you are round this way you will ahve to take me for a spin as i am yet to have the G smiles. Me and my girlfriend went out for a test drive in a G40 and the guy drove worse than my gran and it made me just think that the G40 was all just hype. Prove me wrong!!
