    I don't know, is the short answer. There are wiring differences from ECU plug to engine, so if you did change ECU, you would at least need the engine loom, maybe also the engine bay loom. Not sure. If the engine/ECU combination that you currently have is not generating any fault lights or fault codes, I would say that there is not a problem with the air/fuel mixture.
