Hi all, new guy here with quite an annoying problem with my polo. First off it's a 2001 Polo 1.0 mpi 5-speed. I start it, and it will idle fine for a few mins, then after driving about a minute or two, it will start to bog down and have no power whatsoever, sounding like its running on 3 clyinders and backfiring through the intake, resulting in me having to stop, restart the engine and somehow that makes it so I can start off again, only to have the same problem recur, especially once I slow dow

Firstly, my apologies as this problem is posted on another forum, however I am desperate to fix the issue. I've got a 1998 6K Polo Estate with central locking, and a (rotten) 2004 Mk2 Caddy with remote central locking. If I wanted to change the Estate to remote locking, what bits do I need off the Caddy? Am I right in thinking the receiver's on the central locking pump?

Hello, everyone! I’ve always been the type of person who, as soon as any warning light comes on in the dashboard, immediately takes my 2020 Polo to a repair shop.
